So did the Chinese develop and unleash this strain of coronavirus onto its people in order to stop the Pro-democracy, Pro-American riots that were happening in their country all summer long?

Be careful.

I can already envision half a dozen conspiracies evolving from here.

As far as the corona virus - or CorVid-19, whatever you want to call it, it seems inevitable that they will shift their focus from containment to simply slowing down its advance across the globe. It’s not ”if,” but ”when” at this point.

I think the risk of a global recession could be even more devastating (and felt closer to home here in North America) and maybe more likely than a Spanish flu type of event due to corona virus.

But, hey, what do I know.

China has a bio-warfare lab right by Wuhan

No conspiracy

They have been working / study the coronavirus and other virulent pathogens there

Not trying to develop vaccines so why?

Bio-warfare agents are designed to have a limited life span

. . . or ancient aliens sent it here "pre invasion"

now that's a conspiracy theory

There has been a lot of talk lately that it was developed by the military. Now what about the videos circulating of chinese police pulling people out of their homes by their feet and hair (like the germans rounding up jews) and throwing them on to vans and shipping them off to God only knows where....

or how about the videos of chinese police/military welding the doors of apartment buildings shut so that no one can get out.....

This is an interesting interactive map (from John Hopkins on Esri) that shows the spread of the corona virus globally. I was (kind of) surprised to see that there is already a case here in Texas - San Antonio to be exact. Surprised in the sense that it hasn’t spread much outside of the coastal regions in North America yet, making San Antonio seem a little random.
Anyways, here it is:

China lied about the mortality rates... a lot.
And it's contagious as hell.

This is no little flu like bug... I'm thinking they got a real killer.
Full lung involvement? Really?

A relative of mine works in a hospital and she told me that official policy in Wisconsin is to transfer all Coronavirus cases statewide to the campus research hospital here in Madison, since it's the best equipped to handle something like this- and one of my friends has started exhibiting mono like symptoms.

Oy vey. Probably just the flu, hopefully.

I swear I'm so sick of all this mass panic about caronavirus lol. The flu killed over 20,000 people In the US this year so far lol. Nobody panic shopped, or shut down gatherings for flu season. So far Coronavirus has only killed 5000ish world wide... The real conspiracy here is what is this a distraction from.

I legit probably have already contracted Coronavirus. There's been a confirmed case at my trade school, and two of my coworkers were at the Houston Rodeo before it shut down. My small town just had it's first confirmed case. My wife's dad just got back from Saudi days before the travel shut downs.

Looking forward to my 2 weeks off work and the sniffles.

Well Blackhawk posted a thread about armadillos carrying leprosy and it got deleted because it was not urban exploring relevant...

But the run on coronavivid1997panicof2020 is relevant?

Once the news media gets weary of losing viewers (like me) they will go back to the Mueller investigation or the Ukraniniac shit I promise.

At any rate I am taking armadillo off my diet until this all gets cleared up.

The coronavirus however isn't standing down or being shutdown.
Puny humans.

It still isn't... not to the south forum. I meant to post that reply to the main thread. That's a more appropriate place for it, especially since that thread is clearly marked OT.

Both virus threads are off topic, especially the one on the Main Forum
Never mind critters you encounter exploring...

LMAO YES I want to call it CorVid-19! Starting today, that's what I'll say.

It should be in the Other Forum, the Main Forum is for exploring related topics.

Now its degenerating into a left wing whiney political thread LOL! I miss the old Politics Private Board and Im sure Blackhawk does to. I enjoyed watching him trash the libs almost daily haha!
