Not abandoned but it looked cool. It's downtown where I live. So many places that are really close to me I don't have pictures of because I just never get around to going out to get pics in my own city. It feels weird. I was only out because I was trying an ice rink that was mid-demolition. Long story short, security kicked me out.

Probably should have panned back and got the sides of the tower in the corners... or at least the bottom corners of the window frame stonework. You can always crop a shot but you can't add what isn't in frame. & I like this subject and image

Do you like it? Most of the rest is subjective. You got that sucker pretty straight (little left lean) and greatly in focus. If you need nitpicking, I can see your edit glow in the sky around the building. A good cloud movement can be cool and give an ominous feel. I don't like star movement though (unless you're going for broke and getting that hours long swirl). Keep her under 20sec to keep the star's shape. Good post.

great concept, but i hate the sky in contrast with the building. they look like two entirely different photos, shopped together....which unfortunately cheapens it in my opinion. i do agree that capturing a little more of the sides of the building would seriously improve the composition and feel of the photo. but i do like the idea here. ive taken a similar one that im not too proud of. i havnt quite found the right place to stand or the right angle to do the building justice.
