School #1 is getting more and more trashed when I go back to it. The scrappers have torn down all the ceilings and stole most of the furniture :c Your pictures are great though!

School #2 is the most dangerous so far. I went there with my buddy around 3 months ago to check out how the school is and hopefully find a yearbook we took our time and went to the 3rd floor and had some fun reading some old detention letters. When we were done we were heading down to leave; when we were passing the auditorium we heard a loud gunshot which scared us both to the bone! We stopped in our tracks and heard laughter right after, we peeked to the see who it was and find 2 other men armed with pump action shotguns shooting in point blank in the auditorium at watermelons I am assumed they brought, bowling pins, chairs, and the stage lights. They stopped and started to reload thier weapons and started talking. We saw our chance since they were not looking back to the entry doors and quietly sneaked by them. Thankfully we made it out of there safe and sound.

That would have scared the shit out of me!

There are several interesting schools down there in south Dallas, but the area is definitely sketchy. I worried a lot about my vehicle getting broken into, but we never ran into anyone or had problems. If I had heard gunshots in one of those places, I’d probably still be hiding in a dark corner somewhere, lol.

Wow, you got really good lighting for these sets. School #1 still looks pristine, and the auditorium in #2 is at least a great photograph for the repetition. Too bad about the shitty tags though.
And holy shit, the story lonely_spino told about it makes it sound like it's only getting worse.

That second school looks badass. Going by the little live-round-shooting bit I'm thinking it isn't located in the safest of locations huh. Kinda sad how that works out, specially with morons like those further wrecking the place.

yeah, I had a run in with a crazy looking tweaker dragging a piece of two-by-four around seemingly aimlessly at #2. I called out to him to say hi and he didn't flinch. Just kept dragging his board. I was alone so I grabbed a piece of rebar and continued to shoot, but i was definitely on my toes. Not near as harrowing as Spino's story though!
