| (n) a practice of visiting a site alleged to have been the scene of some tragic, horrific, and possibly supernatural event or haunting. Often done in abandoned buildings, remote bridges, tunnels, caves, rural roads, specific woods or other uninhabited (or semi-uninhabited) areas, and especially cemeteries. It often incorporates practices, sometimes destructive such as graffiti. Kids have been making pilgrimages to this abandoned graveyard to see if they can stay the night as some sort of legend tripping ritual. |
