WB is obviously off on the sky on 2nd image.
Contrast curve is not right.
Dark levels overdone and too much red which is blowing out the WB.
Is your monitor calibrated?

A -little- tweak of the contrast curve is all the original needs... as dundertits points out below you done butchered it.

The contrast on the second one is insane, the original is better.

Don't focus too much on post processing. If you find the right light, colors, and composition, The image wont need any editing. Thats really where you want to be as a photographer in my opinion.

^^^What they said.
Unless you're going for a seriously filtered look, take the pictures so that you spend as little time in post as possible. Listen to the people here, they know what they're talking about. I THOUGHT I did until I took their advice. Keep shooting!

So I realized I been editing under my nightmode filters on laptop / phone and it's throwing my edits off a bit. I did want the reds to pop, but I guess I overdid it.

Thanks for all the great feedback, will definitely keep all this in mind!!!
