Posted by Hoover Thanks Steed. It's a really fun job to have for a little bit. I've never had to deal with kids smashing windows or a quarantine, but I've had a battery thief and a particularly evil skunk that had a patrol route of its own But thanks for sharing. What was your utility belt like? Did you guys get to carry anything other than a flashlight and radio? |
Posted by Steed There were a few times I got to drive prisoner transports, where I got a souped-up former police patrol car. Those were fun. |
Posted by Hoover Prisoner transports? Dang! That's intense for a private company. Sounds like a lot of variety with that job. |
Posted by Steed None of them were ever any trouble. |
Posted by blackhawk Amazing what a controlled environment can do. Makes you wonder how they would have turned out if they had that at home from the get go |
Posted by Steed I hate to digress any further from Hoover's excellent post, but two of those three prisoner transports were being brought for medical care, so they had every reason to be cooperative. |
