Questions about Aisle au Haut, NS
< on 1/16/2018 11:52 PM >

So, a few years ago, I first heard about the interesting history of the Aisle au Haut, but I don't know anyone who has been recently. Has anybody here ever ventured out there? I know there used to be a lighthouse, and some other small buildings but that's about all I know. Are there any remaining structures? Is it even worth visiting?

I haven't been but I don't believe there are any structures left. The lighthouse burned down, and only a light tower stands. There are likely some foundations, but I don't think it's worth a trip from New Jersey just for that.

Well, I go to NS every year. I've been seeing the island every year for the past decade, so I wanted to ask if anyone knows about it. A little disappointed that so little is left.
