Long exposure drain pics

First time giving long exposure a shot, so feedback would be well appreciated!

The last one is the best. The rest are too dark. I wanna see the drain! I don't care too much about the light trails unless I have context for them!

Agreed; the last picture is the best. To see the small space inside the drain, the light hitting the walls, it's very interesting to look at. Makes viewer wonder what context is. I'd say the others were good exploration for you though for exposure pictures!

Too dark. What you need is a second and often third light source placed out of the frame for lighting the space you're shooting in. Or similar results can be achieved by leaving the shutter open and painting the scene with a diffused light source.
