Posted by OH_ZOG_NO You would need a prescription for one. Off the counter benadryl(Diphenhydramine) or other fast working antihistamines can work as well. The idea with tablets is not to cure yourself but rather to keep yourself alive for long enough to call 911 or get some epinephrine (And yes if symptoms continue after the first shoot of epi wears off you should take another).( Trained lifeguard and friends with a few paramedics) Living life dangerously driving after having a reaction like that blackhawk. |

Posted by OH_ZOG_NO I dont think i have ever seen Sudafed before in Canada. In any case you are taking the Diphenhydramineto inhibit the histamine response its not the most used antihistamine in emergency departments for nothing ya know. Ima put it out here now if you really know what you are doing and how your body reacts to various drugs then take blackhawks route (Who knows it might save your life). If not stay safe and stick to the recommended options. |

Posted by Ptasteful_Pteranodon For all y'all complaining about how hard to come by/expensive sudafed has become, have no fear! The below paper outlines how to make pseudephedrine from methamphetamine. Skip the pharmacy and hit up your local crystal dealer. http://heterodoxy....do/pseudosynth.pdf If that's too hard, you can just pour some hot bleach on your stash and you should at least get SOME yield of sudafed. |

Posted by Ptasteful_Pteranodon Dude what? This was a joke. I'll admit I've been lurking this place for a while but this is my first account and I'm not sure why you're accusing me. Why, though? If I've done something wrong please tell me. |
Posted by sparta213 I know that if you're in the same situation but with Benadryl you're supposed to chew the tablet and gargle, then swallow. Would it not be advisable to chew the Sudafed then swallow for a faster reaction then taking the tablet then waiting for the slow release? |
Posted by blackhawk Ya'll picked the wrong thread to troll. Feel the NE wuv... dude* *Texas definition intended |
