Singled out colors
< on 6/14/2017 7:11 PM >

Here are a collection of photos that I singled out certain colors on to give them a cool effect. I wouldn't be using this for every photo however when I saw what I could do with it I tried it on about 10 photos and decided to share the best to imgur. If you can offer me any criticism to improve my shots it would be greatly appreciated. Here's the link:

The one file was too big to email so I had to upload them to imgur instead of having them show up on the thread :/

We all try selective saturation the first time we learn to photo edit.
But then we stop.

So you did nothing wrong, yet.

#1 looks like a cool location. I like subjects that lead into the photo instead of away. Just how my mind works.

The goal will become making the photos speak for themselves without too much forced processing. Glad your out having fun and learning your styles and software.

Keep it up and save your stuff to look back on as you develop.

Selective saturation makes them feel too processed but I feel like it could be fun in some situations. Anyways thanks for the info just in general. Also I've been keeping an IG account to post my best photos on that I like to look through and see how much I've improved since I started exploring a little over a year ago.

Cool
That helps with almost any art form.

If I don't cringe while looking at my old stuff, I'm still stuck back there.

I like #1 and #5, in the others the selective color seems a bit unnecessary.

I am by no means a photographer so these are pretty cool to me. I love the painting on the floor.
