Brand new to UER, based in Ottawa. R8 my photos please!
< on 5/22/2017 5:20 AM >

I took these at the old hydro-electric company plant last week. I'm working with a Blackberry Priv outer camera (18 MP Schneider Kreuznach) and the lens was slightly dirty that day.

First square them up when you frame them.
Try to get it perfect.
Change "pic" to "inp" when posting the images from here.
Example:

Post only keepers for critiques

Alright, I will use the grid lines on my camera to help measure my shots more accurately! Thanks for the tips, I'll apply them next time I'm out and about/post to UER.

First get the cam at the same height as what the lense image is centered on.
Then square off at least one of the R/L sides, preferable both so the sides of the frame are at a right angle to the floor ie vertical lines are parallel to the sides of the images.

The exception is when you are purposely shooting without squaring off for artistic effect.

Welcome to UER!

I'm Ottawa area too. Also, I actually like number 2 the best. The way you shot it makes the area look a bit bigger than it actually is.

Thank you! I'm new to photography so I think it might've been dumb luck that I got it lookin the way it did, but I'll try to replicate that look in other shoots!
