The on-camera flash is kinda crappy though so I wouldn't suggest using that. I would also suggest dropping the ISO a bit. The rebel XS was my first dslr and I used it for years. ISO 800 is too high. You've got a lot of color noise in your photos. I'm guessing you did a fair amount of noise reduction in some of them, but even so, that only softens your photos. For urbex photography, patience is key when using that camera. Try opting for longer exposures and a lower ISO. I'd also suggest, if you're not doing it already, shooting in raw and doing your post-processing in Lightroom. I cannot even being to tell you the world of difference that made in my photos. You are doing really well with it so far though, it took me a few explores to get to the point you're at with it. |
