Some photos I took inside an abandoned middle school (built '39, decommissioned '87). Some critiques would be appreciated--be as harsh as you like. Because I'm still figuring out file resizing and I think UER's uploader squashed them a 'lil too much, larger images are here (http://imgur.com/a/IWoFL) if you'd like.
Camera: Canon 70D. Lens: Sigma 18-35 f/1.8
Thanks! 1.

EDIT: I realized I posted this in the wrong forum....Sigh....My mistake. If a mod could move it, that would be appreciated.

These are really good!
#1 has SO much potential, but there's too many completely blacked out areas where at least some faint texture would be make it so much better. The entire left side of this photo is almost just pure black. This might be fixable if you have the RAW files. The back lighting on you and the stairs looks amazing!
The other three are exposed perfectly, have interesting compositions, and are overall very strong shots! #4 might be a little boring. A more interesting camera angle perhaps could have added a lot to the shot.

#1: Really great shot, but I agree as posted already, bring back some of the black, while it's nice that the attention is drawn to the stairs, some kind of texture throughout will give the photo an extra visual appeal.
The others to me almost seem too bright: while it's nice to see whats happening, part of the appeal to me of urbex sites, and the shots of them, is the intimate play of light and dark, something that is seemingly lost on 2-4. Try lowering the exposure and they'll seem less washed out and regain detail and drama.
