I can't believe it's been nine years since this was taken.

Now a picture of something that is no longer there.

Lets see something... upside down

Oops, I thought this was the most recent!

Let's go with... "the 90's"

Fuck, I fucked up.

How about the 1890's?

I wanna see a photo of the cops outside the building you're in.

Exploring a partially burned out school, as I approach the windows in this hallway:

1.

I see the local cops come from around the building (from where I'd left my car) and park here. I was sure I'd been seen, but by the time I quickly backtracked to my car, they were gone. I decided to move my car across the street (and ended up getting permission to park there), and continued my explore without issue.

2.

Let's see...how about an awesome light fixture in an abandoned place...

Part of a themed restaurant.

Let's see something you wish you hadn't seen.

The more we explored this under-construction mega yacht the angrier we got. No one should have so much that a boat this big is a toy. I'll walk through miles of sewage but this right here is fucking gross.

This will be a four deck spiral staircase.

How about a picture of an explorer fitting through a really, really small point of entry?

The person in the photo is a UER member (but I didn't ask permission to post the photo so I won't say who!).
This was my first visit to the Baker in 2015.

Let's see something really out of place.

It's not amazing in photos, but it was really weird to find, because I didn't know what it was, at the time. (I'm a youngin'.)

Knowing about them now, I just wonder, why would you take one out there? I don't get it. Must have been stolen.

What about... something that's upside down? Not that the picture is upside down, but that the object is.

Wow, okay, popular request. I take it back.

Scary, scary mushrooms:

by Dee Ashley, on Flickr

I came back here a couple of years later and this door had completely rotted off its hinges and almost totally disintegrated on the ground. Kind of makes you wish you had brought a respirator when something like that happens...

Anyways,

Let's see an awesome view from someplace. From above, below, rural, or urban, anywhere.

We woke up early to make the trip out to this tower and get the sunrise. It was well worth it.

I was curious about this myself...boredom, insomnia, and my quest for useless information forced me to Google 'nixie tube'...by definition it is (also known as cold cathode display) an electronic device for displaying numerals or other information, using glow discharge.
There's a thread with pics in 'Other' forum; not sure if we're allowed to add a link to this public thread, but it's a cool looking device.
Well, I have no pics of my own to contribute, so...looking for nixie tubes, as requested!
