Since it's been a day, I'll give you something that technically fits. This paper mill is about 125 years old, though I doubt much of the original infrastructure remains.

How about something with a spooky glow?

Finding the lights behind a reception desk in a former hospital the only ones lit up in the main entrance hall was a little...spooky.

Perhaps my all-time greatest "dumb luck" find.

EDIT: I forgot to start another subject. How about... A casino. I don't recall ever seeing anyone post a casino on here before.

I am willing to take the signs in this place for their word this was a casino, but it was a small one I'm guessing catered to foreigners only.

How about: abandoned art.

This place almost looks too ritzy to be abandoned but there are practical layout reasons why all the plans to restore use of this building have all fallen through. Its been sitting vacant for years.

How about organ pipes? Or just a big organ.

Show me a police officer

This one sent me on quite a voyage.

Here's me and an exploring partner as cops.

And here's my Tourist Police crayons I walked away with from that event.

Here's my pirate flag on the back of a cop car on display outside at an abandoned Expo.

And just to satisfy your criteria, here are two cops directing traffic in front of an abandonment.

Next: firefighting personnel or vehicle

I feel your pain. My archives prior to mid-2009 are a minefield for the same reason.
