I've spent a few hours researching overdose deaths after I found out what happened to Corley, and I stumbled across this article it's worth a read if you're an addict or you know someone who is. http://www.webmd.c...-overdose-naloxone

That information about naloxone is very interesting. I had no idea such a treatment existed. Thanks for sharing that.

Narcan has been out a few years in NJ already. Parts of NJ have high heroin usage areas. Its nothing but normal to find people at the train stations passed out from shooting up. Cops and EMTs have been carrying it for some time now here.

I only knew Corley from chat, but I'm full of regret that I never took the time or opportunity to travel to meet him. Regardless of his demons, the personality that I saw through him clearly was something that many others saw as well, or this thread wouldn't be what it is. I'm so deeply sorry for those that did take the time and chance to meet and get to know him, my most sincere condolences for all of you. Let's not let this conversation devolve into the circumstances that took him away from his loved ones, but instead let's try to keep it about the good shared times and memories of him.

That wasn't directed at you or anyone, but I mean... rather than letting it devolve, all things considered, it would just be nice to keep this a thread that stays on that topic. That's ALL I meant by it.

The last time I talked to Corley, I was telling him about some issues I had going on, as he was always there when something was wrong. So as we all mourn over losing him, I'll leave you with the last words he left me, "You know I'm only poking fun at you cause like, what the fuck else are you gonna do, right? Take everything fucking super cereal all the damn time? Fuck that noise." - Steve
Shine on chief. We miss ya. Love you chief, rest in peace.

Steve was one of the most genuine, caring, intelligent and crazy people I have ever met. He was one of a kind. Peace and love to you on your journey, my brother.

100%, thank you. And Keti you don't worry about anything <3 I did answer what happened in hopes it would stop rumors that can develop. However it won't be hard sharing epic stories, photos and love. He was full of it! Let's keep that going in the most cool way possible

As wild and crazy as he was, and god damn was it fun haha. I also loved his ability to keep peace, never judge and have patience with everyone. You are spot on, my friend.

Having a hard time knowing what to say. I always thought that one day when I eventually made it back down to visit and explore he'd be there. He got me my full membership here. He was the reason I took my first UE trip. He let me stay at his house, a complete stranger at the time, and helped me through so much I'll never be able to thank him for again.
I told him once my memories of us spending time together were my 'happy place' I'd go to in my head when things were really, really bad. They saved my life.
We had a big fight once. I don't remember what about. But I remember us both saying we were sorry snd that we loved each other and then sending music links back and forth and life going on like nothing had ever been wrong.
I remember helping him when shit was heavy. But no matter how bad his demons were at the time he always had support to give.
I miss him so, so much. I wish I had told him that more.

RIP corley.

Actually I hope it's not peaceful

I hope it's a mother fucking party and you're the life of it, like you always were.

love you bro.

My friend's father was the doctor who invented it. It needs to be much more widely known and available.

Just a reminder:

If anyone has any outlet at all in social media. Please share this link. If you have anything to give please do it.

I started this with Rana X to help take care of Steve's family.

However this is just the tip of something amazing I'm starting in his name.

Thank you

Damn shame. I never met him in person nor talked to him much beyond the forums, but he seemed like a hilarious, interesting, all-around great guy. Hearing everyones' memories just cements that.

RIP Corley. Condolences to all of those on here who knew him well.

Steve is a Motha-Fuckin Rockstar! And anyone who has had any kind of interaction with him, brief or not, are better humans because of it.
