UER newbie DeScent has passed away.

Please do not post any links or details that may make it harder on the person that was with him as well as making the media's job easier.

More details may be posted later.

He had only been a member or UER for 6 months and was very active online.
He was a member of UEGA.NET and was also known as DarkDay on FlickR.

My thoughts go out to his partner, family & friends.

RIP.

That's awful, I've been following them on flickr for some time, they seemed to get out often and posted some fun shots of their adventures.

Oh no. I spoke with him and his partner super briefly a couple times on Flickr, they were super cool. RIP.

He captured -beautiful- images

in places few have the wherewithal to shoot.
My condolences to Dark Day, and all of Descent's friends.
No words I can offer will help other than the may the pain lessen as the years pass.

This tribute video was shown at The Clannies a couple of years ago.
It was quite emotional as DeScent's partner was present on the night.
