Grain Elevator

Just visited the grain elevator, just thought I'd start a new thread for some of the pictures I took.

So it's accessible again.

Shooting at night with a flash in there turns it into a lighthouse.

Shooting with the flash was a risk, haha.
And it's definitely open. I found the POE from a you-tube video some hippies posted last summer, their video clearly showed the way in, and when we went yesterday nothing was different.

The POE was definetly clever. That monster thing or whatever he is looks pretty funny lol. That's new.

The old way in was someone chopped the corner off a cement block wall to get in one building and then you had to climb though yet another hole that was 5' off the floor once in that building to get in the main building.

The old way

That is actually exactly how we got in, so it is also the current POE. (Might want to delete that post?)

That's not the current POE. Radio was referring to the front corner being removed. That has since been rebricked

Yeah, the spiral staircase is pretty neat. At times it can be a bit nerve-racking because the stairs have a small metal frame, and then are filled with cement. In some places, the cement filling had falling out.
