Rock Hill Finishing Company

Hey All!

I love photography, and love to take urbex shots. here are a few from a trip to the Rock Hill, South Carolina Finishing Company

1)

my Brother walking up the stairs to the catwalks above.

2)

a handle in the factory

3)

A busted clock in the crane room. The arms were stiff so I think it actually stopped on the hour.

4)

A Ladder to a catwalk.

Tell me what you think! I have a ton more photos, but I'll filter them by location so that y'all won't be overwhelmed by all of them. Appreciate any advice!

Also, how do I turn off pop-up mode?

The first thing I would suggest is to read this Guide to Posting Photos. Because we generally tend to hate the UER image uploader and the thumbnails.

Nice photos! That seems like an awesome location, better than anything I'll probably ever get to. For disabling pop-up photos, there's a little check box at the bottom of the quick gallery creator to either enable or disable it.

The second shot isn't bad.

Seems like a cool place, I'd just say read up n some composition stuff. The last shot would of been more interesting if the ladder was used as leading lines into something that could be the main focus of the image. I am a self taught photographer and I'll tell you learning basic composition can really improve your photos.

this place seems pretty cool! i might have to check it out. i would take some shots that take in the feel of the place. without revealing too much of course.
keep it up!
