my family was going thru some hard times a while back. a lot of people on DX sent help, but junix sent way more than anyone else.

i wish he would have reached out to someone.

truly sad. he stayed at my house for a get together a few years back. when I was gone he replaced all my light bulbs with the newer tube style, also gave me a bunch of flares. Class act and a nice guy. my feelings go out to his wife and family.

I never had the pleasure of meeting him but its sounds like he was well respected.
My thoughts go out to his friends and family.

Saddened to learn of his passing. An amazing explorer, and a great person. Kind, thoughtful, and nice to be around. Depression can be a horrible burden. Rest easy Kevin.

Oh shit.
Had the pleasure of meeting and exploring with him when I was out on the West Coast for a work trip.
I can only say great things about him (and I don't have much nice to say about anyone.)
RIP dude.
Shitty year for the good guys.

Sad. I only met him once in Vancouver, but he's been in the scene a long time and this is news I never expected to hear. My condolences to his wife, family and friends.

Back from the service, I have some extra memorial cards for anyone who wanted to be there but couldn't. Send me your address and I will put it in the mail for you.

One of the few ballsy enough to go to McLouth with me when the place was guarded quite aggressively by an old biker looking dude in a pickup (not Steve Andre). Him and I hid in some cat tails for like 45 minutes, lol. Solid dude.

Yikes,

while I never met him, this hits pretty close home as he's one of the much older generation of Seattle explorers (at least before my time)...

You did! And I still have it floating around here somewhere. I used to wear a tool hat as well, great band.

Yeah man, that's what it's there for. You guys' tribute looks like quite an involved operation, hats off to you for completing it successfully. Must have required quite a bit of coordination to pull it off.
