Sammy and Sally.
This was taken two years ago Christmas morning on a camera I got and soon Sally broke because she doesn't like the flash.
Haven't replaced it yet.
Sammy's the brown and black one, who's 5 and Sally's the gray and white one, who's 4, they haven't changed a whole lot since the photo was taken, Sammy is about the same size, Sally is a little fatter, but not a whole lot. Both Maine Coon cats, purebreds, but surprisingly they don't exhibit any of the stupidity that inbreeding can cause and why I really don't like going to a breeder, but for this particular breed, usually the breeders are halfway decent, depending on where you go.
Sammy came from a breeder in Rutland Vt. along with another cat that the breeder gave us, Meadow, his sister who passed away. She was 2. Sammy was so depressed after that happened that my sister and I found a place in New Hampshire that had silver mackerel, or striped maine coons, we needed to find another one that might get along with him to pull him out of his funk, which worked. Memorial Day weekend four years ago, we hauled ass to New Hampshire and picked her up. Worked like a charm.
The only issue I have is she's too attached to me because Sammy used to pick her up by the nape of the neck and carry her from room to room, that alarmed my family, so I would take her to bed with me at night and put her on my pillow so I wouldn't hurt her if I rolled over. So, every night for about a year, she would come to bed with me. So, I can't go anywhere without her pitching a huge fit over it. Also, Sally's a midget. Her legs are so short compared to other cats of the same breed and age and she's never going to get any bigger.
Sammy weighs around 30 lbs, Sally's around 14, but she rules the house and puts Sammy in his place, just like a normal woman.
Meadow's death from a brain tumor and neglect by the breeder caused the State of Vermont to shut down where Sammy came from, incidentally.

Got a cat story. I have a stray that adopted me and now lives here on the porch usually all day. Well, yesterday she caught a full sized Blue Jay. She had it on the ground and paralyzed while three other Jays attacked her. She ran and hid under the chair to avoid being dive bombed, by this time I came out on the porch. The other birds flew off and I cleaned up the poor Blue Jay (after putting him out of his misery).

Seems she had a taste for bird yesterday and was pissed that I took away her meal. About 20 minutes later I looked out on the porch.....she has another bird and is finishing it up. An hour after that she killed and ate another one (both these were sparrows).

Its not like she is starving or anything......she just haz mad hunting skillz

Here she is and can someone make this into one of those demotivational things please??????

If I were you, I would have taken the birds and taxidermied them myself.

My boy Oreo.

He is a monster cat. As in size. He's really big.

He brings home the usual array of animals he has killed. He has also brought home two full grown geese, three ducks, and several giant coy from a neighbors pond.

He's an absolute sweetheart to people. Hams it up big time!

I like to photograph stray cats. Since October I've been keeping an eye on a colony of cats near my home, and recently kittens started to appear.

Anyway, I have a personal rule: if I photograph a stray cat on two occasions, I have the right to name it. My wife and I have a tendency to name cats after ska and reggae musicians, so you might see a few names from that influence.

Here is the family of kittens below.
Top left: Mighty Terror (a calypso singer)
Bottom left: Adolf
To the right: (dammit, my wife named that one last night and I forgot)
The mom doesn't have a name yet, but I'm lobbying for "the Virgin Mary."
Right of the mom: Tosh Carrot
Right: Colonel Nick Fury

And here's Steve French, who's either the father or the lesbian lover of the mom.

And the one whose name I forgot is Atom, which is the Korean/Japanese name for Astroboy.

Here is a picture of one of my 8 week old foster kittens heading back home.

I usually don't let them out of the carriers but he was crying...he was so good and just sat on top of his carrier the entire way and looked out the window!

None of these cats have anything on Otter.

Note feet and eyes.

My beautiful kitty Nyaa

my kitty who loves to watch the toilet water go down, she gets upset if you don't let her in the bathroom before you flush.

she likes her water fresh, no how clean her water bowl water is she doesn't care, she prefers shower water and toilet water. So I keep the toilet clean, I can't get her to stop so I try to make sure she won't be harmed.
