Always Learning

This is somewhat of a redemption post, as my first (and last) critique made it clear that I was not ready. But the years have taught me things, and I'm still hoping to learn something. Nikon D600 w/ 24mm f/2.8 on tripod. Two sets of bracketed exposures @ ~f/5.6, each merged to 32-bit HDR; blended foreground and background in PS for continuous focus.

I'm not qualified to comment on the HDR techniques (or photography in general), but I can say without a doubt that I really love the composition and feel of the shot. I really dig the symmetry and leading lines. It pulls the eye.

I looked up the other thread you were referring to. This is a far superior shot. Good job!

Well thank you kindly. If I could, I would bury that old thread. HDR is like a 12 step program...the first step is admitting you have a problem
