Hi everyone! This is my first post in this section.

i like this pic:




i just got a new tripod and tried it out this morning. it was windy and i was on a bridge with cars driving by. i'm a sucker for long shutter lights.

since it wasn't staged to be gory, it didn't occur to me it might be upsetting...

It's just blood, relax.

First picture is neutral. A background instead of a close-up would be more fitting.

I like the second one a lot. It could easily qualify for a post-rock album cover ^^

Nice skylines. I would've panned to my left slightly to pick up more of the BofA tower, less of the IKEA sign on the building (or moved to the right-hand side of 17th street there to frame it). Clone out the unlit streetlight (easy in Lightroom), but otherwise good comp and horizon. For the other shot from 17th, kill the amber hue by adjusting the white balance a bit. I'm sure there was still some color in the sky to be found, but it's washed out by the streetlights.
