A Grain Elevator

Don't really have too many pictures of this one because there is a lot of outfall pictures I took. Here are the ones that don't really give it away.

The stairway picture was a bit un nerving. It was about a 20 story drop right off the stairs.

ahh so this is open again it was sealed up a few years ago. Good to see some pictures here again. Were you tired of climbing spiral staircases by the end of your trip?

It was sealed up quite well but someone had found a clever way in. We took advantage of a couple strategically placed pallets.

Those spiral stairs are a little sketchy at times. And no way am I trying for the roof.

The roof is not that bad the ladder is a little sketchy but view is worth it.

That ladder must have gotten worse over the years. It has broken away from the concrete and is loosely secured at the roof

Haha yep that sounds about right it was pretty bad when we were there too. "Loosely secured" is a very accurate description except I'm not so sure about the secured part......

Did the old Scoular building get opened up? I went there alone a while back, but couldn't get in. I don't see how pallets would have helped, as I recall the only windows were some 3 stories high. However you managed, got some great shots!

Just visited this site, good stuff.
I didn't think the ladder to the roof was sketchy at all, it was pretty stable.
