Good Stuff Talisman! I'm jealous you have that playground in your backyard.

Thanks Seedy, and yes, I'm a lucky S.O.B to have this place so close. It's taken for granted sometimes, but it always manages to suck me back in eventually.

I have some similar older pics from the east side.

Here's the other side of the bathroom. I took an absolutely glorious poop in the farthest toilet down during a night explore once. Just thought I'd share.

The firing range (one of the many).

The kennels. Creepy-ass place.

....going...going.....not yet gone.

There's nothing like leaving your mark on a place.

I was just out there yesterday because the wife decided she was sick of being in the house and suggested Sarita's for dinner. Took my son out to play in the "broken buildings" for a little while. Skater warehouse near the treatment plant is leveled, nothing but a concrete slab. Long warehouse nearby is totally open, lots of cabinets and other furniture stacked inside. Other long warehouse partially occupied, we got into a section through a convenient opening and found the fire department is using it for storage (I think... there's tons of rescue ladders in there). Left the stuff alone, and left by the way we came in.

Went to peek at Anarchy Alley/Glass Warehouse. Fences on south side are repaired and there's asbestos remediation being done on some barracks type structures adjacent to the lot.

Took a peek at the red brick structure by Best Buy. Looks kinda cool. Some other dude in a pickup truck was making a turn around back there... was it any of you?

I was there Saturday afternoon. I parked up well away from the gym on the other side of the frisbee golf course and a cop pulled up right behind me. Before he asked what I was up to I asked him if it was ok to walk my dog there, which I just happened to have with me. He said that It was ok, as long as that was all I was doing. I proceeded to the gym with dog in tow and took the above shots. Also, when I was leaving I passed 3 black & whites surrounding a pick-up truck full of crap, fridges, pipes, wood and stuff. The scrappers are screwing it up for us. Apart from the old barracks, the West side is a bit dodgy right now. 'Visitors' should be careful.

Goddamn worthless, meth-head scrappers. Thanks for the new intel Talisman.

For anyone that's interested:
A reliable source told me this morning that this building is built above an underground bunker. Apparently there is an elevator behind the large steel door with the combination lock.

I do have access to a set of electronic ears..
Gonna have to give it another try one of these days.
BTW, just FYI, the L shaped 3 stores building behind the D.O.D used to be a medic barracks, he said. He also said the old hospital (currently the D.O.D) is haunted, big time! Some people refuse to even go in there at night. Can't wait for that place to be abandoned, probably not in my lifetime though.

Yup, had to mentally prepare myself for this demo. Is that the large concrete building in the background I see? Is it still up? I was told they would be re-using that structure.
