Hello,

my name is Fauna. I used to inhabit the Chat quite often under the handle Engel. (I'd truly appreciate if you would call me Fauna)

I am hoping to get back into exploring, further my photography knowledge and make some friends to do both with.

Ohai EWF Fauna!!!

Pleasure seeing you here.

Hi!! I'm Kylix and I'm from NJ. I recently found (by accident, walking the dog), an abandoned house, and before that, and abandoned chemical plant. I took lots of photos, and it seems to be off everyone's radar, for now. That's a good thing.
Looking forward to discovering more places in my travels, and will post photos as soon as I can.

Before I forget, the link for this page in the FAQ section should be changed.

Anyway, hello I figured it would be a good idea to introduce myself if I would like to truly become a bigger part of this community.

My name is Johnny, I am 23 years old and I am a photographer and urban explorer from Cleveland, Ohio.

I have been photographing nature and the life around us for about 7 years now and have been photographing abandonments almost just as long. I've always been into darker art and art forms and abandoned places just seemed so fitting. We would always drive past this abandoned farm land in kirtland (now torn down) and I would always ask my mom to stop so we could go look at it, and finally she pulled up to the drive one day and we got to explore and I photographed with a point and shoot I had at the time. I'm writing this from mobile while at work so I will be able to add more later, but figured I would at least say hello and hope to join this community in a big way as it is one of my passions in life and photography.

Hi friends my name is Jake,

I recently just moved to Philly, plan to do a lot of exploring, from Clearwater Florida. I've always been fascinated with old abandoned buildings since a kid. Since getting older I've started exploring more. From everywhere around my home state of Florida to philly, Nashville, LA, and New York City.

I like weird music, every form of art skateboarding biking and photography.

Looking forward to potential future meets with locals.

Hello from Texas (NE of Houston). I've been lurking in the forums for awhile but this is my first post. I've been interested in old cemeteries, abandoned buildings and architecture most of my life. My daughter and I are thinking about taking a long weekend and heading north toward the Arkansas border to find some good places to explore and hopefully, get some good shots. If there's anyone in Northeast Texas that might be up for letting us tag along on an explore, (or has suggestions of any places we should see) let me know. We're tentatively planning the trip for the second weekend in October, but that could change as needed.

Lack of planning on your part does not necessitate emergency measures on my part.

Hi
I made an account here back in my teenage years and completely forgot about it!
Now I'm back living in Winnipeg and traveling all over canada for work, and have been inspired by some amazing photographers to get into urban exploration.

Just what I was about to do! Hahaha

I made an account in 2009 but didn't possess the means to pursue the hobby. Since then I've been gone on a couple trips in the past year and decided to try and broaden my horizons by becoming a part of the UER community!

I hope I can fit in and maybe meet some other explorers in the Northeast. I noticed UER does photos but how about videos? I have one from a visit to an OLD OLD house back in January if anyone cares to see it.

Good to meet you all!

Hi, I'm Emmanuel.
I'm a 17 year old guy from a small city in western Canada called Victoria. I haven't really done much UE before, but since I found this site, I finally decided to fully get into the hobby.
With any luck, I'll be exploring some tunnels under my city this weekend! You seem like a swell bunch of chaps and I hope to run into some of you at some point!

Hey guys!

I am just getting into UrbEx! I live in Burnaby, British Columbia just moved here from Ontario, I went out the other night as I am located in the Metrotown area and there's quite a few construction sites going on. I had planned to climb the crane or the building that was there. Unfortunately a security guard had been there and it just wasn't an option at my location.

If there are any Vancouver based Urban Explorer's here looking for someone to tag along on an adventure I would love to! Just send me a message

Looking forward for what's to come out of this!

Thanks,

Spencer

Hey Guys! I've been getting into urbex for a little while now. I've just been doing stuff at my university, since they are a little more lenient when it comes to getting caught.

I would really like to start checking out other places in Chicago. My favorite places are a mixture of churches and bakeries. Something about religion and cookies, I guess.

Hello guys, I never knew that urban exploring was a thing with a community, I've been exploring small things here and there and there and climbing small buildings. Just recently I also started to get into photography and I guess that's what lead me here. I hope to contribute to the community and share experiences from Edmonton, Alberta and hope to maybe meet up with some of you all and go on some adventures.

It's good you meet all of you,

Hey to all my fellow curious cats and kittens out there!

I hail from the West-coast of Canada, currently living in Vancouver, BC.

I am from White Rock originally and lived in a butt fu<k nowhere town in Alberta called Bonnyville for a number of years. Both of these areas having various exploration grounds (Alberta = Abandoned farms, churches, school grounds ect. White Rock = Indian reserves, haunted beach front properties, mountains you get the gist)

I have been into UE since I was a kid, growing up on an Acreage giving me the belief that there was this unattainable "fire breathing squirrel" that lived in my forest that I needed to capture. I still need to catch it.

I am down for any sort of exploration, I am especially fond of "haunted" areas and places with grisly backstories. I love feeling like I'm in a horror movie. I am however terrified of worms, so that's always kept into account.

So if anyone would like to creep around the lower mainland, travel north to explore some abandoned towns or do a Vancouver Island discovery crawl with someone feel free to message me.

Looking forward to finding that squirrel!
Cheers!

Hi, I'm Josh
I found this forum a couple years ago and joined. I used it a few times, but then got preoccupied with other things. My heart has always been in adventuring. Now I am a Freshman in engineering at UW Platteville in Wisconsin. I am hoping to become a member on here so I can find some more things to do. Theres so much countryside out here I'm guessing some people know places to explore. I'm so bored here every weekend, and I feel like I just need some adventure.

Hey I'm Ceefus. I live just outside Philly. Many years ago I was much more into the Urban Explorer scene but I got too busy for it. I'm looking to get back into it. I just moved to Philly not too long ago so I'm trying to get out and see what the city is all about..
