Hip Hop Production

Hey, when I'm not working or exploring I'm working on hip hop production. I recently had a soundclick page put up to try and sell some of my production. Wanted to ask what you all thought about the layout I paid someone to put together, as well as the production that is up there! Thanks!

Thanks, I was thinking of setting up a soundcloud too,

right now I'm using Cubase 5 as a sequencer with most of my recent work started on Maschine, with some VSTs like komplete hooked into it

I like the music you have, very different sounding than most of the generic work people are putting out

cubase 5: thumbs down
maschine: thumbs up

if you're going into production professionally you should probably invest in pro tools 9.

meh, every studio has cubase or nuendo these days...

maschine is neat, not sure why they didn't use one of their more powerful kontakt style samplers in it though.. still cool. not sure about the new mpc ren that is coming out next summer..

every daw (or music production pluggin) has it's pros and cons...

What is it that you dislike on Cubase? and why pro tools over it? I've noticed that Pro Tools tends to be a choice of those in the USA while in Europe I've seen Cubase

Agree with the DAW.

I was actually looking into Komplete Ultimate. The price hurts so bad though
