Part of the old Tamales railway. There's a wonderfully sketchy train tunnel and old prohibition era mobster compound up the river as well. They would run booze down the river, out Tamales bay and on to San Francisco's speakeasy's and illegal bars. Just an odd and interesting area left in time.

NPC and NSR Old #12, "Sonoma" ran across that estuary. It's restored and on static display in Sacramento now.
