Wow... we always jokes about the "photo" a day, but this guy really took to heart the part about saving up your days. =P

(btw, inp > pic)

Those do look fairly interesting though =)

First off, welcome to the forum! This is a great place to share explores and meet others who enjoy the same thing. I was wondering why you didn't just post this like all the other locations in the regional section? The pics would probably get more views and you would get more mileage out of the images you worked hard to get. - d

Thanks, I'm really enjoying this forum already. I live and do most of my exploration in the SF Bay area, but I'm also out in central Texas quite a bit. I was just a lurker briefly a year or two ago, but I've accumulated so much cool stuff over the years, I figure it's time to share a bit. It's very cool to see a lot of places I've been already be here on the forum, like New Indria.

Mostly, when I go exploring, I'm focusing more on recording sounds and just getting reasonably decent images for documentary purposes while I'm at it, but a lot of the light painting and other really well-composed images you guys create have really got me interested in looking into HDR photography, light painting and other photo effects. It's actually kind of cool to look at old photos I've taken and get an emotional rush in remembering the humbling experiences I've had there.

My whole life is capturing momentary glimpses of places and things that are inaccessible to others and turning that sound into living art that other artists can use thousands of miles away. When I write my own music, I do it almost entirely with sounds from my excursions.

In any case, here's a favorite from up the coast, even though it's already been posted in this thread:

sea glass

recording it

And what that turned into:
