Great idea Cr400. I was throwing this around in my head but wasn't sure what peoples reactions would be.

Fabers cyclery. This place has been a bike shop since 1912

Damn near rolled my truck making a sharp right as I almost drove right past this place while leaving a recent explore. Sure some have seen it, but to see the bikes plastered on the side of the building caught my attention hehehe.

Funny. Del Amo motor sports is just a few miles from my home.

I've always liked these photo a day threads, but we never had one here as far as I know. Now we do.

I'm confused. Is this an abandoned photo a day or anything?

Faber's is an interesting place, but being down the street from my house, I'm pretty sure the owner still lives there.

Here's one from about 3 years ago:

That's my ex. Thanks RG. Hard to keep her still in the low light and was using a handheld flashlight for the illumination so it took a while. I decided to work with it and use the soft against the hard of the steel.

I didn't mess with the colors of the safe either.

I think you post whatever you want to here.

Fabers is run by a guy named Alex who has managed the shop since the 60's. He's not the owner though. They will be having a centennial open house soon in case you are interested. Lots of history there.

This bicycle was hand hand built by a machinist who was a patient at the Agnew Asylum during the depression. The frame is made out of common plumbing pipes, the tires are made out of garden hosing. The spokes are thick as a pencil and totally tuneable.

There's nothing wrong with boobies, unless you're at work. In a cubicle. On a regularly trafficked aisle. Checking the thread on your lunch break.

Any chance of folks linking to NSFW content instead, or should I just opt to read this thread strictly from home?

Love the idea of our own "anything goes" Photo-a-Day thread though!

Sorry, I intended this to be an anything goes thread for us on the left coast. Although anyone is welcome.

NSFW is probably a great idea.

I just happen to be such a big fan of boobies, I tend to lose track of anything else............

Photo a day is just a suggestion, post up more if ya'll want to.
