I could be called "jack of all trades, master of none". I have experience in automotive restoration&repair, construction, finish carpentry, landscape, plumbing, residential wiring, DC electronics, automotive bodywork, automotive paint, and probably more.

Things I won't do or have no knowledge of: rebuild car transmissions, paint houses and art.

I have had jobs in construction/handyman, auto repair, marine repair, industrial controls, and (my current job) field repair of medical laboratory (blood/urine test) analyzers.

I live in the Indianapolis area, if you need local help.

I'm really good at bullshitting what I know, and am mostly just lucky. I grew up helping my dad with all sorts of repairs / build processes, and then couple that with a strong sense of design and mechanics, along with troubleshooting skills, and somewhere along the line you end up with me.

Throw in a huge lack of cash, and and even stronger sense of anti-consumerism, and you end up with someone who will modify, customize, repair, or tinker with everything that I own, or anything that I think I need for a particular reason.

If you want to protect the locations you love to explore, don't talk about them online in public!
If you want to make exploring friends, send people private messages! Meet up in real life! Get off the internet!
Don't try to have a UER e-penis! You won't impress anyone! This especially means you, Minneapolis MN newbies!

+1

I'm all for customizing stuff, making it work better, and generally tinkering.

I know a good bit about traditional woodworking, ex. hand planes, hand cut dovetails, scrapers, chisels. I also do a bit of wood turning. I build speakers and am proficient with T/S based modeling software. I can develop DSP based crossovers and do system alignments. I also build electronic devices. I worked one summer as a commercial electrician's helper and learned to laugh at romex queens( also learned to run conduit wire panels, transformers, properly label runs, ect)

Physical Therapist.
I realize it's varied from what you're all posting but I figured that's why it's useful. Anything from helping heal a broken bone faster to making frequent headaches go away I can usually help with. I know how to treat over 150 conditions including pregnancy and specializing in children's work and I'm always happy to try and help somebody improve their health.
pm me if you ever need anything

I'm an audio & video professional. I've done sound for everything from small events up to 1000+ people. I also do video in a variety of configurations, including running camera for recording & IMAG. Some of my pro work might be on You Tube. I'll have to check... I've done stage lighting and do IT as well.

Off the clock, I work on cars, small engines (without much success lately), and repair appliances. I'm currently working on figuring out how to re-wire my central air (more on that in a separate post). I also do plumbing (true to my name) and light electrical work.
