your caps lock key stops working, and so does left shift? seriously though, dont you hate it when youre moving through a project, and idea, and then bang one day you just hit the fucking wall with it and it sits, glaring at you as it takes up space in your studio and your mind. i swear to god, im going to murder this thing soon if it doesnt provide me resolution otherwise....

It might be a way to change up or at least inform your practice. Figure out what's not working and see if there might be a different medium you could use (it could be writing). But if all else fails burn it in public.
Also, there is an entire category of unrealized art. There are even shows of unfinished work.

That works too. I know not to doubt technical prowess, but sometimes I back myself into a corner that no sandpaper can fix. Those are the times I reconsider what I was doing in the first place or just view it as an experiment. Can't wait to see your latest.
