Yup! I've been rock climbing since I was 13. Gotta crane?

idaho idaho idaho potato!

Things are lonely up here in the ponderosa pines of North Idaho.

Going along Highway 12 (from Kooskia to Missoula) this weekend to camp, read, hike, make fires, etc. etc.

A meetup somewhere soon would be fun, though. I don't know the Boise area enough myself to organize anything. And, North Idaho is good for non-urban exploring (which is also fun, duh!).

Its a month later, but I wouldn't mind checking those places out. I've never quite made it out that direction or really know exactly where they are.

So, sad news on the silos. The only one that would be possible to explore is on private property. Since they wouldn't even let the Statesman in to photograph it for a historical write up awhile ago, I think we are SOL. The other two are a) currently being used for a toxic waste dump, and b) full of no pest strips from when it was a toxic waste site.

Apparently, there is one in Eastern Washington that's not too trashed and accessible. Road trip sometime maybe this summer, we could camp?

But, yes, let do the hospital soon! Friday nights/Sunday nights work for me, and I've got a smattering of daytime availability.

I also found out that Caldwell has tunnels between buildings that run under the city? Does anyone else know about this?

I've never heard about the underground tunnels in Caldwell. Ive been in the basements of a few of the buildings downtown (caldwell pawn) and never saw anything connecting. Might be worth following up on.
A Sunday night might be the best for the hospital. Gotta watch out for the dentist across the street during the day. They have the landlords number.
I'll be free in a couple weeks. Maybe we can figure out a day for an Idaho UER meet in Nampa.

I have a friend who owns a business in Caldwell that was talking about the tunnels under his place. He was looking for someone to explore them with. So, I'll let you know how they are if I can get down there with him.

I know I've posted in here before, but at the risk of sounding whiny and annoying, I'll again through out there that if anyone visits SE Idaho (I live in Idaho Falls), I'd love to meet up. I especially would love to meet up with anyone who knows of any goods spots to explore in my part of the state. I know of a few and have posted about one, but I'm dying to expand haha.

I haven't posted for the pacific northwest since moving to the Idaho panhandle, but I'm actively looking for places to explore. Some friends of mine and I are looking for others to meet or share spots with. Pm me if interested. I'm currently hunting down old graveyards and abandoned farms around the palouse region.

Not sure if i'm ok to do this, but i'm gonna bump this thread just to see if any Idabros are still around in 2022. PM or respond here just cuz I'd like to meet some other people into the hobby. I'm specifically near Boise but wouldn't be opposed to driving a while to meet up.

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

Theres a few of us but there just isn't anything left in the area that hasn't been repurposed or torn down. Nampa and caldwell had some stuff up til the last couple years but its done with the expection of a few churches looking to be sold. There are some places up north or if you wanna travel to portland or a few other northwest cities though.
