Where are these drains you speak of?

It's been a looong time since I've been in a drain in Idaho. There are a few along the river, and significant lengths of the canals go underground. Everything that I've seen has been small, though- 4ft or less. Not to say there isn't bigger stuff out there somewhere for someone to find.

Has anyone here been to Shanty Town?
or know if there is an entry on it in the full-members only database?

I'm planning on making a forum post of it fairly soon here, I just haven't had the time to do so.

Is that the same as scary City?

Yeah, it's a little paper town up in the Boise foothills with all of the decrepit houses and such.

Yeah. Up like 8th street til you hit dirt. I've been up there once and be damned if I can find my way back. I'd share some of my locations if you could give directions (via IM of course)

Someone had beat the shit out of it a few years back. Curious on how it looks now.

I found something that looked slightly promising behind the court house. Small though, the weather needs to improve so I can check it out.

Yeah, that's what I was thinkin'....

I am not familiar with Boise, but, I think a BOISEX would be difficult to organize, although, it would have an awesome name

I just wanna come down to Boise and explore!

I still wouldn't mind doing one, but yes. No clue where to go. Lime isn't as cool as it once was, and there isn't anything close of note.

I guess we could take some people to the old trailer house park in the foothills if I can remember where it is.

Only a few things down here. Boise got an urban renewal with all the Californians coming in an buying up the abandonment downtown. I would like to do an Idaho meet at some point, though.

Californians ruin everything, everywhere. Including California.

Agreed. But yeah a meetup would be fun if we could fine somewhere to go. That foothill thing sounds pretty fun.

Not really. In the foothills by it, I guess.
I'll be going up there in some 4 wheelers as soon as BSU lets out for the Summer.
I'll get directions and this is where we should do a meet up.

I saw something on google earth by the reserve that I thought might have been it... It might be fun to do a meet up there though.

I would love to join an explore with people from ID sadly only people i know that will go into places that are abandoned in my area mind you is to get smashed or what not so it would be great to meet others that share the art of actually taking it in and enjoying the location.
