Posted by Galasium Thread hasn't been active in a little while, but I thought I'd post some (unedited) shots I took a couple weeks ago of one of the cooler drains in town. I just used my old point and shoot for these ones; I need to head back with the DSLR and tripod to get some nice long exposures.
1.
The main tunnel (about 7 feet tall).
2.
Cool junction at the end of an "offshoot" tunnel.
3.
Looking back from the junction.

These are pretty good for a point and shoot, what are you using?

Thanks! I just used a Samsung WB350F I got back in 2014 for these shots. Pretty solid camera with a decent flash for dark tunnels.

Nice posts ! Good to see this active again!

From a recent trip with a friend, turned around near the horizontal black pipe. Planning on going back with boots to get to the very end.

Visited this neat tunnel recently
|

Went on my first tunnel explore over the weekend with @plight, @goste, @xiketic, and a few others. Not much of a graff fan, so here's a shot I got with some cool natural light.

Whos been underground recently?
Some real crouched lurking, and some mineral deposits.
Poor quality pictures since I was run and gun with my phone.
And the mineral deposits
Would be interested to see if anyone has been in the drains in the last three pictures, never seen pictures of em so I would assume not. I'll have to go back another day to get to the end.

Got quite wet on the way in and out of this one. The entrance was fun to find. Two photos: DSC-4362 by sunlight, on Flickr DSC-4197 by sunlight, on Flickr

Is that the one at Land's End? We went at low tide last Sat, but the entrance was blocked by washed-in sand. :(

Pretty long drain that had bass swimming through it. Will upload more when I go back, didn't get too far it was late.
There was a lighting system that ran through a small portion of the drains ceiling

Dude it suckssss. All the bay area drains at the moment are just sitting developing algae because there's no water flow anymore and lots of sun
