This pisses me off. Let me know how it works; we've thought about applying it to other aspects of UER.

We are now having a discussion in the moderators board of implementing this clean-up feature in every board, only with a seven-day limit. So you'd have to post every week in every forum--Main, Rookie, Photography, Photo Critique, etc--or you get removed from the board individually.

That sucks. You'll actually make it worse for traffic and clutter, everyone will post useless things in each board, each week, just to stay active.

ITEM:

I constantly find lurkers with 3 mos or better stars who have not made a single post. They're either fishing in Avchat, or they're fishing in the boards, and their intent, while never fully revealed, is perfectly clear.

Cops, narcs, rats, Lord Ricks, etc. etc. Remove them at once. There's infiltration GOOD, and then there's infiltration BAD.

ITEM:

Personally, I'm in a few private boards, and I generally check in sporadically, sometimes leaving a comment, sometimes not. I regard these boards as a kind of bookshelf: there are books I pick up frequently, there are others infrequently. It does not mean I've given up on them. Don't ban me from my books just because I haven't read them recently.

Carry on.

Oh, also if you don't post at all for one week in any forum, your account is closed.

...That all would be pretty fun, wouldn't it?

I'm still here. Just I don't get angry enough to have anything to post or rant about. Or, what I am pissed off about I'm not sufficiently pissed off enough yet to post it. I'll wait until I'm hammered one night to do that.

Speaking of housecleaning, maybe we should unpin posts that aren't current anymore...and which contain false information from mods.
