Posted by Jonno23 This tread has changed the very nature of this barn, regardless of the interior contents of the barn. Regular barns do not have 12 page internet threads on them. Regular barns do not have the interest of people around the country, that have never seen the barn except on-line. Regular barns simply go about their existence, storing hay, storing farm equipment, storing nothing in particular in many cases. But they go on in anonymity. No. This barn is no longer normal, even if it was just a normal barn the day before the thread was posted. The very thread you question turned the barn into something else.

I can't believe how much of this thread I read.....but this post was the moment I truly fell in love with it.

Whoa. Been awhile since anyone posted here. Drove by the barn at about 1400 today and three doors on the front were wide open. Drove by again at 1530 and it was all closed up. Hmmm...

This thread is, literally, the only reason I come here.

I was in the area in September and couldn't resist stopping to check the place out. It's still sealed up pretty tight, except for one window through which you can only get a glimpse of stairs. There's quite a bit of construction going on nearby. 1.

I love this thread. Even back in my lurking days I discovered this and kept up with the magical mystery barn tour. Good to see the barn is alive and well.

Judging by that tract home, it seems like the barn's days might be numbered...

I think even if the barn got nuked from orbit, this thread would still be here : )

I can't help but draw comparison to the "Florida Door" thread that used to be on the SE US subforum back in the day... Speaking of which, I wonder whatever happened to that mystery?
