Six billion people rising exponentially is depressing.

EDIT: And I don't even live in Europe, where it's really crowded.

The bit that is the most depressing to me is when I see two stupid people who have a raft of children following them around, while my friends who are truly smart and intelligent insist on having no children.

i.e. the stupid people are flooding the world with children that they are not going to educate and mentally stimulate, thus handicapping the children's abilities later in life.

This shit just pisses me off. Fuckers.

Then how is it most of us are happier than most of the breeders I know?

I think http://stfuparents.tumblr.com is far more depressing than any of us could be.

I constantly attempt to be in tune with other's emotional condition, so to avoid depressing this kid further, I've removed him from the board.

Too bloody right mate! I know at work the people who have kids are always bitching and moaning about not having any time to scratch themselves. Or how they are always paying out fees, etc for their kids. Stuffed If I can see what the fuss about having kids is...thanks but no thanks!

Tell those people to STFU

If you want to know about my kids, you'll ask. Most people I meet for work don't even know I have kids, because why would almost-strangers and coworkers give a fuck about my kids.

Why do people choose to breed if they don't want to go all-in? Seriously, are all these people convinced that 'their' life with children will be different then every other breeder's life. Will they have some magic formula to sort out daycare, bedtimes, babysitters, illness, school, sports, clothing, food, vacations, time with friends, ect.

Kids take lots of time and lots of money, if you don't want to sacrifice time and money... why have the children?

I truly believe there are 4 main groups of people...

1) do not want children, do not have children, will not have children (stay strong!)

2) truly want children, have children, raise them properly, teach them, help them, turn them into productive members of society

3) those idiots who think they want children because it is the status quo, have children, bitch about their children, care more about themselves, and raise little brats with no brains and no respect, who drain our system.

4) those who accidentally have children and may or may not turn out to be good parents.

There are also those unfortunate people who want children and would make great parents but are medically unable. For those people, I'm glad there is adoption. I am adopted, and my parents are wonderful people who took four children from various people unable to parent properly.
