Looks can be deceiving: this cat didn't look like much, but with it being the first 60F day of spring, that nice little ex-kitty made the surrounding woods stink badly enough to convince the two people i was exploring with, that the drain outfall in the area was a particularly dank sewer.

This underground tunnel had probably hundreds of jawbones, apparently pig. They were arranged along this ledge next to the water, carefully placed there, all facing in the same direction toward the exit.
Maybe not exactly a dead animal, but the same bodypart over and over and over and over again, which is pretty freaky.

Oh god, if only i had pictures. While doing some rural exploring at one of my friend's houses, we came upon a row of about ten goat heads mounted on sticks. Apparently that was her neighbor's idea of decoration.
Anyway, here's an unexplained pile of the bones of fish and assorted small animals i found in the woods.
