Oh lord, you cannot imagine how retarded Singaporean UE infighting gets. I've heard sides accuse the others of not believing in ghosts enough.

Wow, nobody has listed Opacity yet? http://www.opacity.us/ There used to be an amazing Japanese UE site that I checked often years and years ago, but I can't recollect what it was called right now

No, because it's a US site (despite a fair amount of OS content).
Great thread

South Africa, specifically Johannesburg http://deathofjohannesburg.blogspot.com/ This blog documenting the "Death of Johannesburg" hasn't been updated for 2 years but there are quite a few photo albums and I expect some of the information is still useful.

That forum was the birthplace of our group, that was many years ago. I guess we have evolved, everybody got older. We stopped using the forum a few years back, we do pop by once in a while last year. As for the 'cesspool stool stirrings by a certain individual' Steed mentioned, we got over it one way or another, not gonna discuss that here now. Marina Bay Sands was only opened recently, i doubt they would have plans to allow base jumpers there. Last year they did have a climbing challenge. Oh do visit and have a soak in the 'Inifity Pool' if you happen to be there. And take some high 'roof' shots of the surroundings. http://www.marinab...ina_Bay_Sands.aspx

Great links, and some I didn't know of, ty. Now if we could just drill into people's heads that white text on dark backgrounds is not good for extended reading... *sigh* First no-no of web design, and used all too often in UE sites.

Most UE websites are built around photographs, so it's not a big issue.

Light coloured backgrounds (not white) seem to be best for extended reading while dark is better for pictures, especially lowlightened ones such as UE-photos.
