yeeah sucks. Well you would have the option of 100c in 4x5. I don't think the 3000b 4x5 is easy to find though..

apparently, it was only rumors: http://www.bjp-onl...e.html?page=870414

That's cool. Of course, I just looked at how much a PA-45 film holder costs... ouch...

Can't you just get a used Polaroid 545? Those tend to go for like $40 at a store and I bet you could get them for less on ebay.

The 545 doesn't work with pack films, only with single sheets. Edit: The Polaroid 550 works, but they are harder to find it seems.

Funny - I never even thought of using pack film in my LF Polaroid back! Also, the 545 series backs can use ReadyLoad which is wicked handy.

I quite like the FP-100 pack film Fuji makes. I've ready some not great reviews of using the ready/quickloads in a 545 back. Have you used this combo?

like most things, if stalked on ebay for long enough, you can get a deal. I got a polaroid 550 back with 3 packs of 559 film for $60.
I really like the reusable negative in fuji 100c. Especially in 4x5. So sharp.

Reusable negatives? How did you arrange that? Edit: Got googling... wow. I had no idea.

I had a go at making a negative last weekend using FP-100B. The result was ok for a first try, my bleaching technik needs more effort, but the second attempt looks better just not scanned it yet because my PC died.

Well - Rumors are back that fuji has now discontinued all of their 4x5 instant film. This means all instant 4x5 film will be in the hands of: http://new55project.blogspot.com/ --who are trying to recreate Polaroid Type 55 Pos/Neg film.
