Well, now that I've listened to the whole thing, I must say that it was time well spent. I also spent most of the time listening to it looking at my WWZ book as well, lol.

That was bad-ass! I'm really looking forward to the movie. Hopefully it'll live up to the hype.

I've listened to most of it now, some at home and some at work. I loved it.

They were supposed to be making either a movie or a miniseries out of it. Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment bought the rights.

I would only trust a WWZ miniseries being good if it was produced by Showtime.

HBO does good stuff.

Band Of Brothers and Generation Kill were both well done.

You make me sad that you don't mention Oz or Carnivale.

Oh, yes. It was only on for three seasons about five years ago. It's beautiful. The first two seasons are available through Netflix, and I'm sure there are a ton of torrents for them, too.

In this HBO drama, creator Daniel Knauf paints a fantastical, often bizarre, but ultimately compelling world of nomads and entertainers at a traveling carnival, all of whom must struggle to survive in the tough economic times of the 1930s. Led by manager Samson (Michael J. Anderson) the troupe includes reluctant carnie Ben Hawkins (Nick Stahl), fortune-teller Sophie (Clea DuVall) and reckless drunk Professor Lodz (Patrick Bauchau).

Mentioning Brad Pitt reminded me how much I can't wait to see Inglorious Basterds. Fuck that movie looks good.

As a recent downloader, I can verify the existence of such torrents.
