Ummm...I hate to break your bubble, but police and fire don't any bands used by ye old analog cellular allocations. If you are hearing those in that band, then you have a image...

How i originally found the communications was by asking an officer i knew what frequencies they operated on. It was between 800-900mhz, id have to go dig out my notes to get exact numbers though

What your talking about is not in the celluar band, but the 800 MHz Public Safety channels that any trunking scanner can listen to.
