I am the new proud owner of a used (but in good condition) one of these.
My lady found it in the back room in a box her dad packed before he died. What can i do with it?
An armed society, is a polite society. So lets get to it! | |
Thats even older than my 2028... Apparently its the same as a Radioshack Pro2025, here is the info I found on that:
16 channels Frequency range: 29-54 / 136-174 / 406-512 MHz Programming: http://support.rad...cs/doc34/34049.htm http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/7137 http://support.rad...ctronics/26447.htm http://www.rigpix....listic_pro2025.htm You could use it for simplex monitoring.. I use my scanner for MedCom (Air Ambulance) EMS/Fire Pagers, Local Severe Weather Warning, some Air Traffic when I'm really bored, All the Common Police/Fire/EMS tac channels. For something so old, I am sure you will find some stuff to listen to in your area. Just toss a good antenna onto it, and you will probably hear lots more than you expect to.
