It sure is. I haven't seen this design used anywhere else in this city - makes you wonder if some civil engineer just got a bit bored one day and decided to do something different.

do those pipes enter from all types of different directions into that room? Or do those tunnels all run the same path (like they were too cheap to get one giant pipe), lol.

Nah, the ones coming in don't run in parallel - that would be truly disheartening! To be honest, though, the stacked pipes are probably much more interesting than a single big box outflow would have been

Yeah I just figured that maybe they had some excess pipe left over ;) How far is this from an outfall? In your image it looks like it empties into a chamber and one smaller pipe?

That seven-pipe stack runs between the chamber and the outfall - the seven pipes empty into a creek. In that greenish pic, I'm shooting from inside one of the inbound pipes at the other side of the chamber... I wish I had a diagram

Oh yeah, that's taken with a fisheye, but the pipes are lit up with a torch that has a sliced-open orange ping-pong ball on the end for a nice diffused light

Oh right, neat idea. I've heard the ping pong balls can be a health hazard.

This is light painted too, obviously, though not in such colour...
I was hoping this would come out smoother, but it just didn't work out for me.
