I've tried a set like this before... They kind of work, but they are too weak for normal use. They flex, and bend out of shape really easily.
If you are in a pinch they are better than nothing, but I wouldn't rely on them.

Yeah, that is pretty much what I have experienced with the Kevin Mitnick business card. They are a cool gimmick though. He sells them for too much $ on his website.
