Well yeah, I'm definately interested.
I want to know how I can provent my radio transmitions from being received by security gaurd or police units. I mean, my stereo system picks up taxi comm's nearly every time they drive by, so it can't take much for a more sensitive system to pick up other radio chatter.

Excelent if you know of anyone else please let me add them to the list. I currently have Motorola sabers unsecure and secure. Im geting a keyloader and DES chips for encryption. There are also many ways to prevent people from catching you minus profesionals. I think we should start a cover your tracks thread here.

And who knows about trunking systems and what device I need to hear them?
I know the police around here use 800Mhz so obviously I need a trunking scanner?

My friend has lots of KVL'S and such..
If you tell me what algorithm you have (DES-XL, DES-OFB, etc...), and what firmware your radio is, I'll see what I can do..

Um, how do I check? I'm still waiting on the PC Cable because they shipped the wrong one, but I'm guessing all this can be found when I install that software to check it. Is their any way to check before that?

May I advise we keep the user "El_Gordo_Uno" off this private board. He sent me a rather offensive PM earlier today, and when I checked his post history I found out that he has a rather nasty attitude.
Just a suggestion.
Anyway nobody answered my question. I want to know how I can prevent unliscenced radios picking up other unliscenced radios' transmissions. Like thos motorola cheapy two way things, that sort of stuff. FRS isn't it? Anyway is there any particular trick to it?
I've heard it's a good idea to keep it off the last channel, and the first channel, because those are the ones they normally use.

I was planing on writing up a basic protocal for FRS security that I have done in another thread. Should do that soon. Basicly it depends on the radios and what programing they have on them. Lastly there is no way to protect FRS (hence my move to Saber secure nets and the 100s involved in that move) Check for a later post. Also I will keep him off.
