Courier Modem for radio use?

I have a USR Courier modem that speaks damn near every phoneline modulation there is. Anyone know if some of the digital signals over the radio are the same thing? I'm curious if I could hook it up to the radio and decode some of the bleepy shit I hear out there, I just don't have enough radio-geek experience points to know the digital radio stuff.

It'll decode 1200 baud Amateur Packet no problem, but that's about the only mode, unfortunately.
