what lock is it? make & model
if it's a door lock is it in the door or in hand?
do you have a working key for it?
what are you using to try and bump it?
have you tried adding graphite?

F this I"m going exploring!

i should have said, what are you using as a bump hammer?
you'll find that it is easier to learn on a lock in hand but it can be done with one in door.
adding graphite often helps.
did you modify the keys at all? file down the tip and shoulder?

walmart & home depot might have it. I'd check a smaller hardware store i know they will have some.

the back of the file should work. try a few different screwdrivers. (they don't have to be really big or anything)

"they were given to me by a friend that never see."
i don't understand this

find out if he filed them at all. you might have to shave the tip and shoulder down.
if you cant find out if they have been modified or not just go get it copied and then file down the copy.

never mod the original.(unless you know what your doing)

are you sure your not trying to bump a 6 pin with a 5 pin key.
(i don't yet know if the key ways match for schlegel 5 & 6 pin.)
