Now I want to be an architect...

In response to a new series of ads for Banana Republic featuring "architects at work," Gawker interviews a New York architect – referred to as "Frankie" – about fashion in the architecture office and the social politics of dress.
Gawker asks: "So what is it like being surrounded by nubile 23 year olds in khaki coordinates at all times?"
"I am not really sure, to be honest with you," Frankie answers. "I think I may be involved in some different types of architecture than these people."

Great links, thanks.

My dad is an architect, and he and his co-workers look like the exact opposite of that ad.

The architect at my work actually looks like the people in that ad.

My cousin married one. Actually a pretty cool guy and he really knows his stuff!

Besides, that group are not real architects. Just polished to look cute for the camera.

Gone for a while. Be back when I'm back.
